Grade 5/6 Teachers

Lauren Cerra

This is my 5th year teaching at MPS in the senior school and I absolutely love it! I especially enjoy teaching wellbeing and maths, as well as the many extracurricular opportunities in Years 5/6. I love spending time with my family, running, dancing, and AFL, as well as trying new restaurants. Come my way for any chats related to food, particularly pasta!

Netanel Koles

It has been amazing to be part of the MPS community for 13 years! I love teaching in the senior school, having fun and interesting conversations with the students, and also the work that we cover at this level - in particular mathematics and digital technologies. Outside of school I love spending time with my amazing wife and three children, playing and watching football (soccer), playing guitar and travelling.

Anika Harris

I have been fortunate enough to be a part of the MPS Community for 6 years now and it has been a blast! I love fostering students’ unique interests and skills, integrating them into my teaching and encouraging them to show curiosity. I play football and netball and enjoy gardening, learning Spanish and spending time with friends and family.

Kristy Maitland

I’ve worked with children ever since I was old enough to babysit. I have always loved teaching kids and have worked in childcare, kindergartens, sports clubs and schools since 1998. I can’t imagine doing anything else. When I’m not teaching, I love outdoor adventure activities, particularly activities that get the adrenaline going

Kate Xenophontos

I am lucky enough to have been a  part of the MPS community for 18 years now. I started as a Year 5/6 teacher and now I'm extremely happy to be back in a Year 5/6 class. I am really looking forward to a fantastic year with 5/6D. 

Outside of school I love traveling, the beach, walking my dog and spending quality time with my family.
