Unit of Study: Spike and Smash
Description: In this practical based unit of study, students will participate in a variety of net and wall style games including volleyball, tennis, table tennis, badminton, and pickleball. Students will explore and practice a variety of skills to enhance performance and also learn how to score and umpire. Higher order critical thinking strategies and tactics will also be developed throughout this study.

At the conclusion of this unit of study students will have:

- Understand biomechanical principles related to various skills, such as footwork, and body positioning.
- Understand and implement strategies, tactics, and game plans.
