Cross Country Carnival

Thank you to all who turned out to assist and support at our annual cross country carnival. This year it was slightly earlier than other years and possibly slightly warmer. Participation was at an all time high with all children displaying a positive attitude to the challenging task of running a significant distance. 

As always the K/1 class was eager to run more than their required lap. Hopefully, next year when some of them enter the competitive age groups their enthusiasm continues. 

Perhaps it is the knowledge of a treat - an apple medallion - that keeps some of our athletes running. They were a great healthy snack to recieve after a hard fought race (or a more leisurely jog).

All of the above children have qualified to represent our school at the Diocesan Cross Country Carnival in Griffith on Tuesday the 8th of April.
