Kinder/Year 1

K/1 students have been exploring their process art skills by following step by step directions to create self portraits. They explored features in faces, and different types of line and shape drawing. They began this process by drawing on nature's tools, using sticks in dirt. They used chalk on concrete and finally worked with pens and crayons on paper. Mrs Maher has been very impressed with the improvement made from week to week, which for some children was significant.
