New - 5/6 Inquiry Unit - Government

The 5/6’s were lucky to have Kim O’Keefe visit this afternoon as part of our inquiry unit all about government! Kim talked to us about her experience as Mayor of our local council, and now in her role in State Parliament! We learnt a lot, and appreciate Kim taking time out of her busy schedule to visit St Mary’s.

The Grade 6 Social Justice team created a beautiful display in the office for Lent!

Don’t forget to fill your Project Compassion boxes for Caritas!

New - 'Let Your Light Shine'

Recently our Gr 1 and 2's went to Mass at St Mary's Church. Fr Addin spoke to the children about letting their light shine. He asked them how they could do this. The children responded with helping at home, doing jobs for their teacher, being kind to their friends and caring for others.

It was a lovely Mass and the children responded respectfully.

New - Clean Up Day

St. Mary’s Takes Part in Schools Clean Up Day!

For Clean Up Australia Day, our wonderful students and staff rolled up their sleeves and took part in Schools Clean Up Day, showing great care and responsibility for our environment. Armed with brushes, shovels and bags, they worked together to tidy up our school grounds and surrounding areas, making a real difference in keeping our community clean and beautiful.

It was fantastic to see our students demonstrating pride in their school and living out our values in action. Thank you to everyone who participated—you have truly “Let Your Light Shine” today!
