New - Presidents Welcome

A Warm Hello to all staff, students and wider school community.

 

I am humbled for the next chapter of not only being a parent at St Mary’s but now as the president of the Parent and Friends Committee. I would like to thank Vanessa and the entire P&F committee (from previous years and those continuing), which I have witnessed amazing outcomes over the years that have enhanced the schooling experience for everyone. I am fortunate enough now my children are at an age to get more involved within the school and while I have a lot of nerves it is more excitement for the year ahead.

 

The P&F committee look forward to a year that provides fundraising to assist in reaching goals to enrich the school education and experiences as well as bring fun and joy into each event. I also encourage anyone who has incredible ideas or share a passion to help raise funds for the school and wider community please reach out either to share your ideas or to jump on and be involved with the committee.

 

Our first event as the 2025 P&F committee is the annual Easter Raffle which we have reached out to families for support with donations to the raffle via the last newsletter and social media. I personally love the excitement beaming from the children’s faces as they fill the courtyard at the end of the day with their prizes. Please be a part of this magic.

New - Fundraising 

We are seeking donations of all things Easter for our annual Easter Raffle so that we can create hampers for our prizes. If you know anyone who would be happy to donate a voucher, please reach out to them. 

This is one of our favourite fundraisers because it brings so much joy to our community. 

Raffle Tickets have been sent home with each student today, $1 per ticket, please sell both sides. A draw will take place in each classroom.

 

Donations can be made to the main office by Monday 31st March 2025.

Please also return sold tickets to your child's class room by  Monday 31st March.

Prizes will be drawn on the second last day of Term 1 - Thursday 3rd April.

  • Friday 4th April - Easter Bonnet Parade - at 9:15 in the Marian Centre
  • Wednesday 7th May - Mother's day Stall - To be held  in the Marian Centre
  • Friday 9th May - Mother's day Breakfast including coffee van commencing at 7.30am and Mass following commencing at 9:15am
  • Wednesday 3rd September - Father's day Stall - further information to follow
  • Friday 5th September - Father's day BBQ breakfast including coffee van - further information to follow
