Winter PSSA Trials
Today, we held the first round of Winter PSSA trials for netball, soccer, and AFL, and it was an impressive display of talent and sportsmanship. Students who were attending an excursion or were not present at school will have the opportunity to participate in the second trial, scheduled for next Friday 4 April.
Zone Swimming Carnival
On Tuesday, we proudly sent our swimming representatives from Chatswood Public School to the Ku-ring-gai Zone PSSA Swimming Carnival at Lane Cove Aquatic Centre. Our talented team, consisting of both juniors and seniors, competed fiercely against all schools in our zone. We showcased our strength across all events, including the medley, freestyle, backstroke, butterfly, and relays. Every student gave their absolute best and contributed to an outstanding carnival experience. Congratulations to all our swimmers! We celebrated not only personal best times and our boys' relay team finishing in 3rd place, but we also want to commend Lachlan Li for advancing to the Regional Carnival - what an incredible achievement!
Knock-Out Tennis Competition
Yesterday, selected CPS students participated in a day of sportsmanship and competition during the Knockout Tennis Competition against Artarmon Public School! With the weather clearing just on time, our talented players showcased their skills and teamwork. This sporting excursion provided an opportunity for our students to compete while building camaraderie and resilience. With each serve and volley, the spirit of friendly rivalry shone through, highlighting the importance of physical activity and collaboration. The day was filled with memorable moments and some impressive performances.
