F/1/2

Helen and Bron from Dhelkaya Health visited St. Mary’s and introduced F/1/2 to the program Making Friends with Worry. We learnt it is completely normal for all of us to feel worry, the different ways it affects our bodies and brains, and what we can do to diminish those feelings. We shared ideas and strategies we already use to do this, such as patting our dog, drawing, finger breathing and talking to someone we trust. Afterwards we went outside and worked on some beautiful chalk mandalas to brighten our day.
