Principals Message

Liz O'Loughlin

Bonjour!

As we approach the last eight and a half weeks of the school year, I want to highlight how important consistent attendance is for our students’ learning and their transition into 2025.

Each school day offers valuable opportunities for students to learn, connect with classmates, and build on their skills. Missing even one day can disrupt their progress and make it harder to keep up.

Regular attendance also helps students develop strong habits and a good work ethic, which are crucial for the upcoming year. Being present during these final weeks will prepare them for new challenges ahead whilst also enjoying some fun.

We understand that life will be getting busier in the months ahead however I encourage all families to prioritise attendance during this important time. Let’s work together to keep our students engaged and excited about their learning.

I would also like to remind everyone of our "No Hat, No Play" policy as we embrace the warmer months. This rule is in place to protect our students from harmful sun exposure during outdoor activities.

Starting immediately, all students must wear a school approved wide-brimmed hat when they are outside. If a student does not have a hat, they will be required to stay on the verandah during playtime.

Please ensure your child has a suitable hat to bring to school every day.  If you need to purchase a new one, hats are readily available over the counter at the school office with payment made via CDFpay.

Merci pour votre soutien!

Liz
