SPOTLIGHT
YEAR 1
Year 1 has had such an exciting start to term. We have been busy preparing for our end of year presentation and we cannot wait for you to see us impressing you with our amazing singing and dancing skills.
Last week we were so lucky to be able to have our Year 1 Excursion to Farrer High School and the miniature trains. Whilst we were at Farrer, we were able to collect eggs from the chicken coops, plant our own succulents in the green house and watch how the dairy works. We were then treated to yummy pancakes and we also make our own ice cream by shaking bags of cream until it set. Then we added our toppings and had a lovely dessert. We had so much fun. Then we boarded our buses and headed to the miniature trains for exciting rides around the track, before heading back to school.
We really wish to thank Farrer and the miniature trains for such a wonderful day.
