Extra-Curricular at MAG

Term 4 is always a busy one in the Music department here at MAG, with performers scheduled for both Primary and Secondary assemblies, the long awaited Rock Band Concerts, Presentation Assemblies and of course, our annual Primary Christmas Concert, among others!

Rudimental Tuesday’s with Kev Kiely

Starting in Week 4, we have an exciting new workshop on offer to students in Year 5 and above, where students will be given the opportunity to learn the true language of the drums, rudiments!

By attending these lunchtime sessions every Tuesday in Term 4, students will gain valuable drumming knowledge and skills which will empower them to join one of our highly acclaimed and celebrated Drumline Ensembles in 2025 and beyond.

As this is a Co-Curricular initiative, there is NO associated cost. It's a fantastic opportunity to develop our students' drumming skills with a clear pathway to becoming valued members of the school Drumline! With performance opportunities, professional workshops and competitions forecast for 2025, all under the guidance of a true professional in Kev Kiely, this is not to be missed!
