Camp Wrap
Last week our Year 5/6 children headed off to Camp Marysville for a three-day, two-night camp adventure.
There were certainly some tired bodies come Friday after 3 days of BMX biking, canoeing, pizza making, fire making and testing skills on the high ropes course.
A huge thank you to Mrs Rogers, Miss Ly, Miss Napier, Miss Veronica, Miss Poropat and Mr Palanca who looked after our children 24/7.
It’s Hats Off to Our Teachers!
While our children were on camp and amid our Yaer Prep-4 Swimming Program, last Friday was World Teachers Day.
Sometimes in the busyness of life and school we forget to thank our teachers for their work. For the most part of every day they play the part of: educator, counsellor, confidante, coach, mentor, nurse, referee, mediator, therapist detective, peacemaker, entertainer and even Director of Lost Property.
So let’s celebrate our teachers and thank them for all the work they do to educate, inspire and empower our children.
It's time to tip our hats to the incredible educators who shape our future. And if you get the chance a little, thank you message wouldn't go astray.
Art Show
I hope you all have marked in your diaries our 2024 Art Show, scheduled for Wednesday 27th November, 3:30-6:00pm.
Come along and see a year's worth of Ocean Life-inspired artworks by our children. Who is the next Picasso or Van Gogh?
And don't forget to bring your wallet. Each of our Learning Communities has developed a piece of artwork that, would look great on any wall, which will be auctioned off on the night.
