EAL group

The EAL community group met this week to make a special Halloween treat - a lollipop spider!

The students were shown an image of the spider and worked in pairs to create verbal instructions that explained how to make the spider. Once they shared their verbal instructions, they had time to make their own spider to take home. 

The group loved the activity and wanted to share their instructions with you so you can join in the fun from home!

Making A Lollipop Spider

You will need: 

* Lollipops

* Pipe Cleaners

* Goggly Eyes

* Craft Glue 

* Washi Tape

Steps:

1. Get 2 pipe cleaners and cut them in half. 

2. Wrap each pipe cleaner around the lollipop to make 8 legs. 

3. Glue on 2 googly eyes with craft glue. 

4. Decorate your spider with washi Tape.
