ASSISTANT PRINCIPAL'S REPORT

Josh Molluso

Another busy week has come and gone and it is great to see all students have settled well into Term 4. As I have walked through the school and into classrooms this week, it has been wonderful to see students engaged in their learning.

On the 24th of October, a social media awareness campaign will be running called ‘Unplug24’. This event is helping families and children to raise awareness of the potential dangers that come with using social media. The idea of the ‘Unplug24’ campaign is to stay off social media for the 24 hours on the day of October 24. It is a great opportunity for families to have discussions with their children on the dangers of social media and the steps that can be taken to ensure online safety in the digital world that we live in today.

We have had a busy start to term with sport. On Monday, Mr Holmfield took a group of students to the Regional Athletics in Bendigo. Our students represented Echuca East with pride and came home with some fantastic results. Today a group of our Grade 5/6 students have taken part in the Campaspe Basketball tournament. Well done to all involved and keep up the fantastic work.

Enjoy your weekend and we look forward to seeing you all for another week on Monday.
