YARNING CIRCLE

KSC POSSUM SKIN PROJECT

In the second instalment of the KSC Possum Skin Project, Jarrod West returned to mentor the students who were ready to finish their designs and to kick start the students who were new to the project. The group was able to use the space and time to share elements of their heritage and what it means to them to be able to explore this part of themselves. Cooperation and collaboration was strong in today's session and we can't wait to share this project with next year's new students who share Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander heritage!

A huge thanks to Jarrod, a school parent and community member making time to be a part of what makes KSC a great place to learn. Thanks, too, to the staff who came by to see the progress being made and who support the cultural work the students of the Yarning Circle do throughout the year.
