Día de los Muertos. Day of the Dead.

The time has come to celebrate El Día de los Muertos! Edgar, Alberto, Egmont, and Abne have been working all year to create an amazing NPS ofrenda. Students will visit the ofrenda on Friday, November 1st, during school hours. On that day, the ofrenda will be open until 4:30 PM for parents and carers to visit. If you can’t make it, don’t worry! This year, the ofrenda will remain open for a week, until November 9th, and visitors attending the Fete will also have the opportunity to see it.

We can’t wait to celebrate this important day for our Latin American community. In the meantime, Egmont has created a website where everyone can learn about this special day, as well as some of the important figures from the Latin American community who will be honored in this year’s ofrenda.
