On the 12th of November four students from the Co-Curricular Drama Ensemble, Lacey, Arlia, Cassidy and Violet (C7), made their way to Saint Ignatius' College Riverview to compete in the semi-finals of the Impro Australia Schools Theatresports Competition.

Congratulations to these students for making it to the semi-finals after their first heat of the competition which was held at Sydney Grammar on the 22nd October 2024, with Chloe (C7), also a member of the team, performing.

The team were able to showcase their incredible improvisation skills and teamwork. Competing against students from across Sydney, the team performed a series of quick-witted, creative scenes, keeping the crowd entertained with their humor and excellent teamwork.

Each of them brought their unique style, and together they demonstrated impressive timing, resilience, and adaptability, impressing both judges and spectators alike.

The experience was challenging but rewarding, and we're incredibly proud of their hard work and dedication to the arts!

A sincere thank you to Mr West for attending the semi-finals and for his ongoing support and training with this team. Thank you also to Ms Wenman who attended the first heat with the students and organised the School’s participation in the Impro Australia Schools competition.

Congratulations to Lacey, Violet, Cassidy and Arlia (C7), for their performance in the Impro Australia semi-finals on 12 November 2024.
