Prefect's Update
Hello families of Kinross Wolaroi School,
Congratulations for persevering through another year of learning both in and out of the classroom!
Well done to everyone for completing their exams, and to the year 12 students for smashing out their first round of assessments!
With camps week coming up, many people across the school will have differing activities, whether it be Study Camp for Year 12, work experience, Year 10 master classes, Duke of Edinburgh activities or Cadet camp we will all be very busy. Camps week is such a perfect opportunity to finish the term strong after a long year of working hard and to also enjoy yourselves and wind down after 2024! Remember to take this opportunity to try some new things, push yourself outside your comfort zone, and further your relationships with your peers.
We have both been looking forward to next week's Speech Day. Whilst it is often overshadowed by end of year excitement, it's a great opportunity to celebrate the individuals within our great school and lift each other up. We hope that everyone is able to attend and participate in the day and look forward to seeing everyone there!
We wish you a restful break, and hope the holidays are an opportunity to spend valuable time with your family and friends. Please have lots of fun and enjoy your time off, it's so important to get a good rest after the year of hard work whilst remembering to take the time to prepare yourselves and map out your goals for 2025.
We are happy 2024 is coming to an end and looking forward to an exciting and productive year in 2025. The Prefect team has many ideas and plans for our school and are looking forward to working with the community to get them off the ground. We have many projects in the works, including charitable actions and development in and around the campus which we will hope to share with all of you in the near future.
Kind Regards,
Grace and Nick
