Parents & Friends Association

A Very Successful Year
As 2024 comes to a close, the P&F Committee would like to acknowledge the strong partnership we have with the school in fostering an engaged and connected parent community. Together, we’ve worked on initiatives that support the school’s objectives while strengthening the sense of community at Kinross Wolaroi, benefiting our students and families.
A standout event this year was the Country Fair, which showcased the strength of our school community. The support from the P&F committee, parents, and volunteers was exceptional, ensuring the Fair’s success both as a community event and as a fundraiser.
We also want to thank our dedicated year representatives for their efforts this year. They have played a vital role in connecting the parent community by organising various social events. They have also drummed up support for fundraising raffles and coordinated contributions such as baked goods for the World Teachers’ Day morning tea.
In 2024, The P&F was able to support several key projects, including:
- Upgrades to Area 51 in the Junior School, enhancing this important STEM learning space
- New gym equipment, supporting student health and fitness
- Video recording equipment for the Performing Arts Faculty, fostering creative learning
- P&F-sponsored swimming starting blocks, adding value to the school’s sports facilities
- Continued support for Icebreaker parent events, strengthening connections within the school community.
Looking ahead, we are excited to welcome new families to Kinross Wolaroi in 2025 and are already planning an exciting calendar of events to build on this year’s success. Thank you to everyone who has supported the P&F throughout 2024. Your contributions have been invaluable, and we look forward to continuing this momentum into the new year.

Year 4 Christmas Picnic Fun
Year 4 held their Christmas picnic at Lake Canobolas on Sunday 17 November. A last-minute shift to an earlier start to stay ahead of a weather change meant we got a great few hours of picnicking in. The kids all jumped in the lake and we enjoyed catching up and celebrating a fabulous Year 4 class and families.
