Staff Paint and Sip

Creating Futures Together

A Creative Evening of Fun and Wellbeing

The highly anticipated Staff Paint and Sip event returned this year, back by popular demand after its successful debut in 2023. Jointly organised by the Visual and Performing Arts Team and the Wellbeing Team, this special evening brought our school community together for a much-needed pause from the hustle and bustle of daily teaching life.

The timing could not have been more perfect, as staff took the opportunity to regroup and celebrate the incredible achievement of guiding our senior students through their final year. After the hard work of seeing off the Class of 2024, this event offered a refreshing mental break, allowing everyone to recharge creatively.

With paintbrushes in hand, participating staff fully embraced the evening’s creative energy, focusing intently on their artwork while sharing laughter and conversation in a relaxed setting. Our talented Art and Creative Practice teachers were on hand to offer tips, from colour mixing to exploring playful painting techniques, ensuring everyone felt inspired and supported in their artistic endeavours.

The event wasn’t just about art - it was a chance to connect. Gatherings like this enable our team to strengthen bonds, share stories, and build camaraderie beyond the classroom. This sense of community is invaluable, particularly in fostering mental health and wellbeing among staff.

All completed artworks will be proudly displayed at our upcoming Staff Christmas Lunch, giving everyone a chance to admire the creativity and talent within our team.

We are already looking forward to another fantastic Paint and Sip in 2025! Events like these remind us of the importance of pausing to appreciate our hard work and enjoying some fun along the way.

Thank you to everyone who made this evening such a wonderful success!
