EXHIBITIONS Karen Casey: Let's Shake, and Spirit of the Animals
Presented for the first time at KHT, Karen Casey: Let’s Shake features over 200 plaster casts created by the artist in an ongoing series of public participatory events between 2006 and 2011. The exhibition is an immersive contemplative space that enables the viewer to reflect on the meaning of reconciliation.
Spirit of the Animals explores the animal motifs in the art and design from the First Peoples of south-eastern Australia. The exhibition includes artworks, objects and cultural belongings drawn from the KHT's unique collection.

Create an Indigenous Botanical Decoration with Dr Deanne Gilson
In this creative workshop with Dr Deanne Gilson (Wadawurrung), use your inspiration to make a symbolic keepsake for the festive season using Deanne’s specially designed collection of botanical print textiles. Make a treasure for your tree, a mini wreath for your front door or even a small stocking. Basic sewing skills are an advantage in this session.
All tools and materials supplied. Light catering provided.

Kids festive decoration workshop with Dr Deanne Gilson
Join award winning artist Dr Deanne Gilson (Wadawurrung) in a joyful morning of creating and sharing ahead of the festive season. In this workshop designed specifically for children, Deanne will discuss her love of design, decoration and what this time of year means to her as a Wadawurrung person. Get crafty and make your own custom decoration with a Koorie twist using all sorts of special materials.

TOURING EXHIBITION
JXSH MVIR: Forever I Live
This critically acclaimed retrospective exhibition of artworks by the late Gunditjmara, Yorta Yorta and Barkindji artist Josh Muir is now showing at the Art Gallery of Ballarat.
Curated by the Koorie Heritage Trust with Josh’s mother, Justine Berg and partner, Shanaya Sheridan as co-curators, this exhibition is an homage to Josh’s multi-disciplined artistic practice.
JXSH MVIR Forever I Live is a KHT touring exhibition supported by Creative Victoria’s ‘Touring Victoria’ initiative.
