April Holiday Program Recap

Ivanhoe Edge – April Holiday Highlights

Our Autumn Holiday Clinics were a resounding success, offering three days of high-energy, skill-based sessions across Soccer, Basketball, and AFL. Here’s a quick look at each day:

Wednesday – Soccer Clinic

We welcomed 40 enthusiastic participants aged 7–14, led by former A-League professional Iacopo La Rocca, alongside coaches Josh Crewe and Steph Traicos.

Students were immersed in drills focused on footwork, game awareness, and technique.

Thursday – Basketball Clinic

35 students joined us for a dynamic day of basketball skill-building. Coaches Ray Washington and Manny Hendrix brought energy, elite-level insight, and personalised feedback.

Our Head of Strength and Conditioning added further value with a session focused on movement efficiency—laying the foundation for better performance and injury prevention.

Friday – AFL Clinic

Former Carlton player Matthew Kreuzer teamed up with Nick Cunningham to deliver a more intimate skills-based AFL clinic, capped off with goal-kicking at Chelsworth Park.

Students had the opportunity to complete professional athlete testing, including vertical jump testing on Force Decks, sprints, and agility drills—gaining valuable insights into the demands of elite performance.

Across all three days, students demonstrated impressive focus, energy, and teamwork, walking away with new skills and greater confidence.
