School Council President's Message

Dear Parents and Carers, 

 

As we are approaching the end of the school year, School Council are beginning to prepare and plan for the 2025 school year. While School Council works as a group together, meeting approximately 8 times a year, each School Council Member is also part of a subcommittee that helps to guide the school in specific areas of responsibility. We thought it would be helpful for parents to be aware of the subcommittees that exist and the School Council Members that run these, to help direct any questions, feedback or ideas to particular School Council Members if needed. 

 

School Council Subcommittees:

 

Fundraising: Rebecca Doheny, Cecilia Fitzgerald, Alison Smith

Facilities: Brad White, Janelle Harms, Sophie Hannah, Mark Hibberd

Finance: Russell Bennett, Jane Langley, Anna Robertson

Policies: Alison Quade, Cecilia Fitzgerald, Michael Davies

OSHC: Anna Robertson, Jane Langley

 

One of our goals is to encourage and support families to get involved where they can with the school. To support this, we are offering the opportunity for interested parents/carers to join the Fundraising and Facilities committees. This is a great opportunity to contribute to the school in an area that you might be interested in or have skills or knowledge that work well with that committee. As members of these subcommittees you would not be required to attend school council meetings, but rather work with the Subcommittee members on projects or planning.
