Work Experience
Last Monday we had the pleasure of hosting Jinaya Nurse in the Resource Centre as part of our Year 10 Work Experience program. In her time with us, Jinaya completed sections (senior fiction and Secondary nonfiction) of our stocktake, laminated labels and attached these labels to the trays on the Kinder Math trolleys. She also helped with borrowing and returning books for 4B.
We are always very happy to support our students and host them in the library. We find they get an insight into all the tasks that we work on throughout the year.
Book Returns and Stocktaking.
As stated above, we have started the process of stocktaking. Your help is needed to work with your child to locate library books and return them to the Resource Centre at your earliest convenience.
Borrowing for 2024 has ceased. We would hope that all books would be returned to the Library by Monday, December 2nd.
Book Club
As I write this, we are waiting on the delivery of Issue 7 Book Club orders. We will not be running issue 8, as we cannot guarantee that it will be delivered by the time we close for the Christmas break.
Donations
Over the last few weeks we have been working on cataloguing books that have been donated to our school. We have distributed these books through the Resource Centre as well as into some of our Primary Classrooms.
We all always accept any donation that can be of use to our school community.
