Many more details to come next week via direct formal letter.
Trent Eacott: Extra-Curricular Drums Tutor, 2025
Hi I'm Trent Eacott,
I’m thrilled to be joining the music tutorial program at Moama Anglican Grammar in 2025 to support the incredible Drumline, Rock Band, and percussion programs. With over 27 years of drumming experience, I’m passionate about helping students grow as musicians and achieve their goals.
I completed my Grade 6 ANZCA Drum Set qualification in 2001 under the amazing Kevin Kiely and have taught students of all ages, focusing on developing their technical skills, confidence, and musicality. I’ve also had the privilege of performing extensively, including leading a 7-piece Jazz/Soul band for 10 years, supporting local artists at the Winter Blues Festival and in cover bands.
My teaching philosophy is all about building a strong foundation in rudiments, timing, and reading, while fostering creativity and learning how to play any genre of music that supports students building a lifelong passion for drumming.
I look forward to inspiring the next generation of drummers.
