Principal's Report
Dear families,
Dear families,
35 YEAR CELEBRATION
At assembly on Monday, Jenny Bathman was presented with a certificate and as set of glasses from the Department to mark 35 years in education. Jen is an amazing educator who is passionate about teaching. Jen cares deeply about every child in her care and is committed to providing them with the very best education possible. At all times she displays enormous pride in her students and their learning. Toolamba PS is indeed very fortunate to have her as a member of our staff.
PARENTS & FRIENDS MEETING
Parents and Friends met on Tuesday night to discuss events for the remainder of the year. On concert night they will be running a Nifty Fifty with proceeds going toward the purchase of construction toys for the Junior Area. As always, we are very appreciative of the efforts of our hard working group of parents.
WORLD KINDNESS DAY
The school was a sea of colour on Wednesday as students dressed in colours for World Kindness Day. Across the classrooms, students particpated in activities related to kindness. Students also enjoyed the opportunity to have a sausage and Zooper Dooper for lunch thanks to JSC.

SAM BIRRELL VISIT
The Grade 5/6s had a visit from Sam Birrell this morning. He has been spending some time visiting schools around the areas in his electorate. He shared his journey to parliament - beginning his schooling at Toolamba Primary School, to be elected as the federal member for Nicholls. The students asked some interesting questions about such things as; the under 16 social media ban, the US election and what laws he has voted on. He gave some great advice to those who are aspiring to become leaders themselves. It was a great visit!
TAEKWONDO
On Sunday 10th November they both attended the Taekwondo Nationals in Brisbane to represent the Victorian Team. They train at the Koryo Taekwondo Centre in Shepparton East. Harry had 3 fights, Louis had 2 fights.
By Harry:
On Sunday the 10th November Louis and I completed in the Australian Taekwondo National Championships in Brisbane. I made it to the finals but sadly lost so I took home a silver medal and Louis made it to the semifinals and lost so he took home a bronze.
Well done Harry and Louis!
