MACSEYE - Out of Hours Care

Macseye OSHC – Welcome Letter

Dear Families,

We would like to extend a warm welcome to all our families, both new and returning, and thank you for enrolling your children at Macseye OSHC. We are excited to have your family as part of our community and look forward to a fun and engaging term ahead.

We’re also delighted to welcome Angela, our newest team member, to the Macseye OSHC staff. Angela brings warmth, creativity, and a passion for working with children, and we are thrilled to have her onboard.

It’s been a fantastic start to the term! The children have thoroughly enjoyed a variety of hands-on and creative experiences. One of the highlights was our outdoor woodwork activity, where children eagerly got involved by putting on protective glasses and carefully using hammers to nail their pieces of wood together. It was wonderful to see their concentration, confidence, and teamwork on display.

Last week, the children also had fun exploring lovely blue playdough. They used their imaginations to create all sorts of shapes and objects, engaging in sensory play and developing their creativity and fine motor skills.

Our box construction area has been a hub of innovation. Using recycled boxes and other materials, children explored building and designing with open-ended creativity. These activities encourage sustainable thinking, problem-solving, and imaginative play. It’s always inspiring to see what they can come up with using simple everyday items!

Thank you again for joining the Macseye OSHC family. We are looking forward to a term filled with discovery, friendship, and fun.

Warm regards,

Tracey Anderton
