PE Report

Term 2 has been an extremely busy term for our students particularly our year 5/6 students with their interschool sports program.

The Foundation students have been involved in a soccer unit where the focus has been on controlling the ball and using both feet. The year 1/2 students have been developing their TBall skillset including batting, fielding and throwing. While the year 3/4 and 5/6 students have involved in a bat-tennis program following the completion of their athletic trials. In addition, the year 5/6 students participated in a ‘Wheeltalk’ incursion that saw a Paralympian talk to the students about his life experiences as well as having the opportunity to play some wheelchair handball.

The term 2 interschool sport season has seen the students put together some wonderful team and individual performances in their chosen sport. The round robin format has seen students exposed to an increased level of participation and a high level of enjoyment which has resulted in many displays of great teamwork and improved skills.

Congratulations must go to:

  •  Adelaide W who performed magnificently at the Regional Cross Country Championships.
  • Jaguar B who has been chosen to represent Team Vic in golf at the National Primary School Championships which will be held in Canberra in term 4.
