It’s that time of Term! The Club are running a Second-Hand Uniform & Baked Goods Sale on the last day of Term 1 next to the Multi-Purpose Building.
Uniform Sale
Any unnamed clothing in lost property will be sold in the Uniform sale. If you have uniforms to donate, please WASH them and drop them off the office. Cash & Card Accepted at Stall.
** Tuesday 26th March will be the last day to donate (washed!) uniforms or check lost property for your items so they are not sold **
Bake Sale - Call for Volunteers and Baked Goods!
We would greatly appreciate volunteers to bake some goodies for the cake stall. Popular items include cupcakes, brownies, chocolate crackles, honey joys, cookies, slices, banana loaf or trays of mixed items.
Gluten Free & Dairy Free options are also beneficial.
We are unable to accept any products with NUTS or items that require refrigeration (e.g. cream fillings).
Listing of Ingredients
We are required to label baked goods with a list of ingredients used to ensure we comply with Government Food Safety Standards. We will have labels available at the office to collect and fill in before you deliver your baked goods, or you can clearly label your items beforehand. A4 Label Sheet attached for home printing.
Packaging
Please package up your goods so they are ready for sale. This may be with paper plates, freezer bags, glad wrap, cellophane bags or disposable trays. Please do not put items on your personal plates/Tupperware containers.
Delivery of Baked Goods to the Front Office/Meeting Room
The Parents’ Club is berry excited to commence the Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program to the Foundation through Year 2 classrooms again this year.
Supported by Parents Club and our local neighbourhood grocer - The Happy Apple, each Monday morning from 9:00am - 9:30am delicious fresh fruit and veg will be delivered to our excited little humans.
We are looking for a team of parent volunteers to assist with the cutting and distributing of the fresh fruit and vegetables each week. Whether you can sign up each week or only once, your time is greatly appreciated!

Parents Club is also looking for 1- 3 parents interested in leading this amazing program each Term. This would require picking up the box from Happy Apple, gathering cutting supplies and leading the weekly volunteers. If you’re interested please contact the Parents Club at nlpsparentsclub@gmail.com This is such are rewarding activity to participate in throughout the year, enquire today!
All meetings will be held in the MPR at 7pm unless otherwise stated. All parents & carers are welcome to attend.

If you would like to have your say, we would strongly encourage you to register as a Parent Club member (registration forms available from front office - it is a DET requirement that forms are hard copy) so that you can have a formal vote on matters as needed at our general meetings.
NLPS has mandatory requirements for people within the school community who wish to volunteer. All new volunteers must read and familiarise themselves with the below policies. A copy of these policies can be found on Compass News Feed & Favourites (star icon) or can be requested from the front office. A copy of this induction pack is also provided in the display folder at the office.
Please also refer to the ‘NLPS Photographing, Filming and Recording Students Policy’ as it may also be relevant to your time volunteering.
