Learning Community 3

We are looking forward to our Easter activity day tomorrow, thanks to all the hard work from these students. Grade 6 students will lead our school in the Easter parade, followed by some craft activities in our mixed age groups. We will finish off with "The Great Bunyip Bunny Hop" (sack race) between all the groups. 

This year we have given students a guess at how many easter eggs are in the 'basket' as they bring their gold coin donations in. The money we raise will go to the Royal Children's Hospital.

We have just completed a unit of work on 'Time' and created some fun Easter writing as well as creating fables with a moral. All students took part in a 'fish bowl' demonstration of the Literature Circle meeting in preparation for this program to begin next term. Thanks to those students who volunteered to demonstrate the tasks; Tyson F, Max, Lucy, Mackenzie, Harlan, Sadie and Ryder T.
