In this first edition of MY FUTURE Careers News for 2024, I hope that all students are enjoying this very busy term. This year our newsletter will bring students many opportunities in the sphere of careers, further education, and resume building skills. The year in Careers has started with the Year 12 cohort attending an Immersion to the city where they visited Australian Catholic University (ACU) for an insight into tertiary study, with a focus on Nursing and Health. Students also attended the University of Melbourne for a Science focus tour and lectures. RMIT was the choice of students with a Business focus. Collarts highlighted courses and careers in the Visual and Digital Arts, and finally students attended Victoria University where they toured the new City Building and focused on vocational outcomes. This experience ensures that students are well informed as they investigate options beyond CLC in their final year of school.
