Performing Arts News

Hello everyone, 

Our wonderful Dancers have been performing their dance routines and reflection on their amazing work this term.

The Preps we have been exploring drama. Students have done a fantastic job of expressing feelings with their facial expressions, body and voice. They have experimented with acting out stories and making sure their actions match what is happening in the play. 

In grades 1 & 2 students have worked as class to create a dance. They improved dance moves to music and then voted on the best moves to be in their whole class performance. Students have been practising their dance and this week have started performing their dances to other classes. It has been wonderful to see how well students have worked together to create their dance and the effort everyone has put into practising and performing their dance routines. 

The grade 3-6 students have performed their dance routines in the last two weeks. All the students have done an amazing job at creating and performing their dance routines for the class. We are so proud of all the effort the students have put into their dances this term. Students are now reflecting on their dances and what they have learnt this term about dance.
