LIBRARY NEWS

With holidays upon us, students have had the chance to borrow up to twice the number of books that they might normally borrow. Those who will miss Library class this week have been invited to come at the beginning of Wednesday Library Club to borrow.

Remember to visit your local public library for more reading material, investigate what you have at home or borrow from friends. It may also be a chance to visit your local Op shop or bookshop to find a new read.

For those who would like to participate in the Victorian Premiers' Reading Challenge this year, start writing down the titles of the books you are reading and have read in Term 1, so that when I make the database go live at the beginning of second term, you will be able to record books that you have read this year. More information for new participants and old will arrive in your inbox at the beginning of Term 2.

Our Lamont Book Fair will be held during Week 3 and the Monday of Week 4 in Term 2, before and after school for half an hour. Put these dates in your diary.
