Choirs
We thank the students and families who have participated in Chatswood choir groups this year. We so enjoy the choral learning and ensemble work, at rehearsals as well as at our performances. This year, our choirs have performed in school events including assemblies, the Performing Arts Showcase and the Junior Performing Arts Showcase. We also have been privileged to participate in state festivals including Primary Proms, the Festival of Children's Music, Sydney NorthWest Arts Festival and the Festival of Choral Music.

Information regarding the CPS Choir opportunities for 2026 will be shared in Term 1 next year. Please stay tuned for an overview to be shared via the school newsletter and in our Music Program Information Evening, including the choir structure and the application and audition process.
Instrument Ensembles
As with the choirs, we thank the students and families who have participated in CPS instrument ensembles this year. Each of the ensembles works so diligently at developing their repertoire with our amazing ensemble directors. This year, our ensembles have performed at assemblies, Open Day, the Performing Arts Showcase and the Junior Performing Arts Showcase. Our external performance opportunities have included state festivals such as the Festival of Instrumental Music, and Sydney Eisteddfod and Ryde Eisteddfod.

Ensembles in 2026:
Expressions of interest for 2026 ensembles will open in early Term 1 next year. Please stay tuned for information to be shared via the school newsletter and in our Music Program Information Evening.
Auditions for our advanced ensembles will be held in early Term 1, next year. If you have been part of or are interested in joining an advanced ensemble, we would welcome your child to audition for Concert Band, Jazz Band, Orchestra and/or Chamber String Ensemble. Audition information and sign up sheets will be posted at the start of the school year.
