Your P&C - Fostering cooperation and engagement between parents/carers and school.

Dear Parents and Carers,

It was wonderful to see so many parents, carers and students join us for the Carols last Friday. The children (and from what I hear, the elves and Santa too) had a fantastic time performing festive songs and enjoying the celebrations as part of the audience. I am very grateful for the full support from our school staff, which helped make the event a successful and joyful way to wrap up the year. We also couldn’t have done it without our dedicated parent and carer volunteers, so I warmly encourage you to consider joining the P&C committee in the new school year.

I am delighted to share that CPS P&C has had a great year, delivering many activities that enriched our children’s school experience. Events such as Canteen Fun Day, the Disco Party, Mother’s Day and Father’s Day celebrations, and Fun Run Day all helped make school life a little more special. The P&C committee has also represented the CPS community on a variety of local issues, such as school build planning and road safety, working with government bodies and our local MP.

With your generous contributions, the P&C also supported a range of student and community initiatives, including the MultiLit program, sports equipment upgrades, and quarterly community morning teas and more - strengthening both learning outcomes and community connections.

Thank you for helping make CPS such a wonderful community. Happy holidays, and I wish you a peaceful and safe break, whether you’re staying local or travelling afar. See you in 2026.
