Shrove Tuesday and Ash Wednesday
As we approach the Season of Lent, in coming weeks we will gather as a community to recognise Shrove Tuesday and Ash Wednesday.
Information regarding how we will celebrate Shrove Tuesday on 17th February will be circulated to families very soon.
Families and members of our college community are warmly invited to our Ash Wednesday Liturgy to be held on 18th February at 9.10am in the Brigidine Centre.
Welcome Back
Congratulations Luke
We are proud to celebrate the achievements of Luke Darling, a graduate of St Augustine’s College, where he was Vice School Captain and Dux of the Class of 2016.
Luke completed a Bachelor of Biomedicine and Engineering (Materials) in 2021, including an Honours Thesis focused on lipid nanoparticles for antibiotic-resistant bacteria - research tackling one of medicine’s most pressing challenges. He went on to complete his Bachelor of Medicine/Doctor of Medicine in 2025.
Luke has now commenced his medical career as an Intern Doctor in the Murray to the Mountains Program, gaining invaluable experience across rural and regional hospitals alongside community-based General Practice. He is currently placed at North-East Health Wangaratta, contributing to healthcare where it’s needed most.
Congratulations, Dr Luke Darling - we can’t wait to see the impact you’ll continue to make in medicine and in our communities.
Brigidine Asymlum Seekers Project and Vinnies Kyabram
We were overwhelmed and truly grateful at the generosity of our school community for our Brigidine Asylum Seeker and Vinnies collections at the end of last year. Your donations were integral to someone having food, toys, toiletries and more during the festive season, that they otherwise would not have.
Donations were delivered to these organisations before Christmas - BASP and Vinnies have asked us to pass on their gratitude and appreciation to families.
SOLE Stars
Congratulations to our first SOLE Stars for 2026.
