Welcome to Sacred Heart

We welcomed our newest Kindergarten students for 2026. It was great to see them arrive at school on their first day, ready to take on the new adventures at 'big school'. We are excited to start this learning adventure together at Sacred Heart Primary School. 

We also welcome Maliyah to Sacred Heart School in Year 1. 

Australia Day 2026

Australia Day 2026 was celebrated with Boggabri residents and visitors coming together at the end of the holidays. The morning began with an address from the Australia Day Ambassador, Professor Veena Sahajwalla, an internationally acclaimed materials scientist, engineer, and inventor who is revolutionising recycling science. Following this, the community was treated to a delicious BBQ breakfast provided by our amazing PTF Association.

During the celebration, Ellie Rodstrom, Sacred Heart School Captain, addressed the Boggabri community, sharing a speech she had written about what Australia means to her. Ellie also shared her knowledge of the region, in particular the Indigenous place names of the local area. Congratulations, Ellie, on representing Sacred Heart School so well at your first official duty!
