YEAR 3-6 CPR AWARENESS

On Tuesday, 10th February, students in Years 3-6 will once again have the opportunity to participate in the CPR Awareness Program. This program is fully supported by the Royal Lifesaving Society in their effort to combat rising drowning statistics and instil these vital lifesaving skills in our students.

The session will guide students through an Emergency Action Plan, giving them age-appropriate skills to respond in an emergency. We encourage you to ask your children about what they have learnt when they come home; it is an important conversation to have with your family.

LIVING WELL, LEARNING WELL REPRESENTATIVE NOMINATIONS DUE

Each semester, two Living Well, Learning Well Representatives are elected by their peers from each classroom. Please discuss this opportunity with your child. If they are interested in nominating for the position, they are asked to let their classroom teacher know by Monday, 9th February. Voting will take place next week, and badges will be presented at the Ash Wednesday / Opening School Mass on Wednesday, 18th February at 12:00 pm. Parents of the elected students will be notified in advance so that they have the opportunity to attend.

SCHOOL SWIMMING CARNIVAL

The annual Scared Heart Swimming Carnival will be held on Friday 13th February at the Boggabri Memorail Swimming Pool.
