The St Joseph’s P&F need you!

The SJB P&F have a strong reputation in our community of raising funds to support the school and organising activities that the students and families enjoy. 

The P&F organise activities such as:

The annual easter raffle

Mothers and Fathers day stalls

SJB Bi-annual school fete

Second-hand Uniform shop services

Lawn mowing service at the school

Movie nights, Colour runs, school discos and other student fun fundraising events

Sausage sizzle and canteen services at the Cross Country, Athletics carnival and Christmas carols

SJB parent trivia fundraising events

Most recently, the funds raised by these activities have been used to:

Replaced all the air-conditioning units in the classrooms ($40,000 P&F donation)

Installed the school shade cloth ($35,000 P&F donation)

Plus the P&F donate $10,000 every year to school IT resources, and a further $5,000 for new books and learning resources for the library every year (among other donations)

The funds from the 2025 Spring Fair have been earmarked to be used to replace the kids playground equipment behind the church.

And we need your help

Unfortunately, the families who volunteered in the President role have finished at the school, and other families who were relied on to organise these events have also left. Without volunteers to organise or run these events, we are unable to continue these activities in 2026. Currently the entire P&F executive are three full-time working mums, and as wonderful as we are, we cant do this alone.

What can I do?

Please come along to the SJB PF AGM on Wednesday 4 March at 7pm in the Hall. The role of President, Vice President and Secretary are vacant, as well as the Lead for Fundraising.

If you are not interested in taking on a formal role, just coming to the meeting and offer your feedback, listen for opportunities to help out where you can and be part of this amazing community.
