Wominjeka Everyone,
What a wonderful afternoon we shared last Friday at our Wominjeka Picnic. It was truly heartwarming to see so many people coming together, connecting, and strengthening bonds within our community.
We sincerely thank Aunty Kylie for the heartfelt Welcome to Country and Uncle Trevor for leading the Smoking Ceremony. We are deeply grateful for the generosity in sharing culture, wisdom, and traditions, and for welcoming us onto Country. Your words and guidance created a respectful and meaningful beginning to our gathering. Thank you to everyone to contributed to making the event so special. Your presence helped create a welcoming, positive, and memorable afternoon for all. We look forward to many more opportunities to gather and celebrate together.
IMPORTANT Dates:
Monday 23/2/2026- Three- Way Conferences. No classes - All day OSHC
All Day OSHC will be operating next Monday. If you require care on this day, please submit a booking request through your Xplor Home app. Alternatively, you may email us at oshc.brunswick.nw.ps@education.vic.gov.au to arrange a booking. All Day OSHC will run from 7:30am to 6:00pm. The cost for the day is $95.
Tuesday 24/2/26 Meet and Greet event – OSHC BBQ
Please join us for our Meet and Greet BBQ event! This is a wonderful opportunity to welcome new families, meet our educators, and connect with the OSHC community.
We are also looking for volunteers to assist with the sausage sizzle (halal and vegetarian options will be available). -Help Needed: If you are free and you would like to help at the Meet& Greet event please let Bernadetta know.

- How to enroll your child to OSHC
If your child is already enrolled in OSHC, do not create another enrolment.

2.Bookings
If you need a casual booking you can request through your Xplor Home app, via the calendar.
If you need a permanent booking, please let me know what days and sessions(before 7:30am-8:45am or after school care 3:30pm-6pm) you need and I will book Child into our system.
Please note: there is a difference in fees between casual and permanent booking:
3.Medical Conditions:
If your child has a medical condition, such as asthma, allergies and so on, you are required to provide:
- A current medical plan signed and dated by a doctor
- Any current medication
Complete a Risk Minimisation Plan
4. School Holiday Program
As you may know we offer also School Holiday Program during Autumn (March/April), Winter (June/July) and Spring (September/October) breaks. To learn more about it please see the following link:
5. Orientation Sessions
We also offer and encourage a couple of orientation sessions for the new children, free of charge. During the orientation sessions a carer needs to be present. If can be arranged at any time, either at Before School Care or After School Care. If you are interested, please let me know.

6. Account Statement and Payments:
Account Account statements are usually issued weekly. Please check your statements regularly to ensure that your Child Care Subsidy (CCS) has been applied correctly.
Important NoteCentrelink may automatically cease a CCS enrolment if a child does not attend care for 14 consecutive weeks. To help avoid any issues or potential debts, families are responsible for keeping their Centrelink details up to date. This includes changes to income, care arrangements, or contact details such as your address.If enrolments are not updated or managed correctly, a CCS debt may be raised.
PaymentsOnly Parent 1 is able to view and manage account and finance details, including payment methods, via the Xplor Home app.Parent 1 can set up Direct Debit through the app (Accounts/Finance) or use Pay Now, which allows you to pay as you go.

- School Holiday Program:
While it may seem early to be thinking about the school holidays, organising activities particularly incursions and excursions does take time. Most of our activities are currently being planned, with details to be confirmed (TBC). Please see the flyer for more information about our upcoming School Holiday Program (SHP) in April.
