Ciao from the Winter Olympics

Ciao FNPS!

I wanted to send along a note about the amazing experiences I’ve had while volunteering at the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic Games. 

I have very fortunately been a part of the Events Services team at the Santa Giulia Ice Hockey Arena, where I’ve gotten to see some incredible talent from different countries both in Men’s and Women’s Ice Hockey! With my role, I also get to see behind the scenes, see some of my hometown heroes from the Canadian teams and speak to the organizers of the incredible Olympic events, to learn more about what goes into making these events possible!

As my days wind down, the competition ramps up as we move into the Women’s finals and the Men’s quarterfinals, semifinals, and Bronze & Gold Medal Games! I am looking forward to sharing more about this experience volunteering at the Winter Olympics when I am back in Melbourne!
