A message from our Principal

Summer Fair 2026

It surely is our most anticipated day of the school year! This year promises to be another outstanding event with heaps of food, music, rides, prizes and don’t forget the fireworks (must be dark so just after 9pm usually)! 

It really has proven to be a day we can all be proud of. What has struck me most about these days is that pretty much everyone gets involved in some way. It’s a real ‘hands on’ event. 

Please make sure that you’ve signed up to help in some way. 

Look forward to seeing you all there! 

Open Classroom Program 

Our teachers are very much looking forward to meeting with all families at our upcoming Open Classroom program next week.  

We had such an incredible response from families last year. It was terrific to see the students proudly showing their parents around and talking about the wide range of programs they take part in each week. 

It is a good time to remind families that teachers are more than happy to make time with parents at any point throughout the year to discuss progress/ concerns. Issues can come up at any point across a year and it’s much better to address them at the time rather than wait for formal opportunities. 

Working Bee Last Sunday

A special thank you to the families who came out to make the grounds look wonderful at our working bee on 15th February – we had a great turnout.  

Thankyou to the following families: Bunce, Egan-Marshall, Gordon, Harris, Hayes, Kouretas, Muscat, Nott, Olsen, Smith, Spalding, Roberts, Villalobos and Yannakena.

Excitingly, we plan on holding one each term throughout the year as part of our Buildings and Grounds Priority plan.

Traffic

Thank you to everyone who has responded to our traffic and parking challenges at drop off and pick up times. Please continue to be mindful of street signs, crossings, and parking regulations. The council has informed us that monitoring of the area will be increased during peak times. Where possible, we encourage walking, riding, or scooting to school, and using Wright Street or parking a block away to avoid the busiest areas.
