Who was Saint Vincent de Paul?
In Religious Education, Stage 2 students have been exploring the fascinating world of the early Church! We have been learning about the Apostles, discovering how they built the very foundations of our current Church beliefs through their focus on sharing, community, and treating every single person with dignity.
This week, the students made a wonderful connection between the early Church and Saint Vincent de Paul. They discovered how he lived his life just like the Apostles did—by putting love into action. The children have loved researching his life and were amazed to learn about his incredible journey, from his early days as a farm boy to his lasting legacy of kindness. It has been inspiring to see them connect these ancient stories to the "Mini Vinnies" work we still see in our community today!

This year, the parish will support students as they continue their faith journey by preparing them for either the Sacrament of Confirmation or the Sacraments of Reconciliation and First Holy Communion.
