Science in K-2

The K-2 class recently designed, built and presented their frog shelters as part of their Material World unit in Science. Students devised their shelter plans by exploring the properties of natural and manmade materials, including cardboard, leaves and paddlepop sticks; this allowed them to create strong, sturdy structures that kept their toy frogs safe and dry.
