The 30th August 2024, was ‘Wear It Purple Day’. A day that unites LGBTQIA+ youth and allies to shine a glorious light on the thousands of schools, community organisations, universities, and workplaces that come together to create a more inclusive future for all Australians.
At TPS we celebrated ‘Wear It Purple Day’ on Friday 6th September. By wearing purple, we showed our rainbow young people that they are celebrated and respected, acknowledging all have the right to be proud of who they are and who they are becoming.
It has also become a tradition at TPS for us to celebrate ‘Wear It Purple Day’ with a Students vs Teachers netball game. Thank you to everyone who helped make it such a special day!
