Children’s Book Week Celebrations 2025
Children’s Book Week is always a highlight at St Norbert College, and this year was no exception. With the theme “Book an Adventure”, the College community enjoyed a variety of activities in the library throughout the week. But the standout event, as always, was the much-anticipated Cosplay Parade on Wednesday 20 August.
Year 12 students, joined by several staff members, brought their favourite book characters to life as they paraded through the Father Peter O’Reilly Centre to the delight of the whole school. It was as though our most beloved characters had stepped straight out of the pages and into our assembly.
We are so proud of our Year 12 students for their enthusiasm, creativity, and incredible effort. Their costumes were diverse, detailed, and truly impressive. Staff also embraced the Book an Adventure spirit, with the English Department once again making an impact through their themed group costume – Peter Pan.
