3/4 Camp Reflections

Hi families!

We’re back from camp - and what an unforgettable few days it was!

First and foremost, we want to commend our students for their incredible resilience. As some of you may have heard (yes, the rumours are true!), we had an unexpected wake-up call when the smoke alarms went off at 3am on the very first night. Despite the bleary eyes and confusion, the students handled the situation calmly and with maturity. It was a great reminder of just how adaptable and brave they truly are.

Throughout camp, students embraced every challenge - from rock climbing and possum glider, to group sensory trail activities and late-night stories - with energy, curiosity, and kindness. They supported each other, tried new things, and created lasting memories.

A huge shoutout to our dedicated staff who took time away from their own families and routines to make this camp happen. Supervising round-the-clock, leading activities, and providing care and encouragement at every turn is no small task. We are so grateful for their hard work, heart, and leadership.

Thank you again for sending your child along to the 3/4 camp. They made us proud, and we hope they’ve come home with stories to tell, new friendships, and increased confidence!

Warm regards,
