Celebrating Learning

We have been having a great time in the last 2 weeks engaging in our Maths in the Real world Main lesson. The focus on this main lesson has been measurement, but also linking this to problem solving and number. The children have heard stories which directly relate to the task and have been solving real life problems using their number knowledge while doing hands-on measurement tasks. It has been really engaging and we have all been having fun. 

In Writers Workshop we have been doing persuasives. They have written some very convincing persuasives about new subjects to teach at school and also which pet to adopt from the adoption centre. 

Swimming has been this week, which is always busy but fun.
