STEM

This term in STEM has been buzzing with creativity, problem-solving and hands-on innovation!
Our Prep and Grade 1 students have continued exploring line coding with Ozobots and have taken their learning further by engineering cardboard obstacle courses. Using MakeDo tools such as Safe-Saws, Fold-Rollers and ScruDrivers, they’ve designed and built tracks for their Ozobots to drive through.
Grade 2 students are putting the finishing touches on their exciting Ozobot World project, which will be revealed in the next newsletter! In the meantime, enjoy a sneak peek at some of their incredible designs – from a spooky haunted house and the changing four seasons, to a tropical maze and even a fiery volcano!
Meanwhile, our upper primary students have been tackling drone challenges in the classroom. Using block coding, they’ve programmed Tello Drones to weave through obstacles and land precisely on designated pads. Their focus, teamwork and excitement have been fantastic to see – some photos are included so you can share in their achievements.
Stay tuned for the next edition, where we’ll unveil the completed Ozobot World!
