Leadership

Dear Parents and Carers,
It is hard to believe we are almost at the end of another busy and productive term.
We would like to extend our best wishes to our First Nations students who will be participating in the First Nations Dance Ensemble at the Victorian State Schools Spectacular this Saturday. Our students were invited to join this prestigious event thanks to our involvement in last year’s Spectacular. A big thank you to Kim Read for organising and supporting our students in this wonderful opportunity.
Next week, our Year 3/4 classes will be heading off on their much-anticipated camp to Alexandra Adventure Resort. This experience promises to be both exciting and rewarding with a range of challenging and engaging activities.
As we close out this term, our focus is already turning towards 2026. Planning is underway for class structures, staffing and programs. As usual, we aim to share these plans around the middle of next term. Teachers have submitted their expressions of interest regarding the year level(s) they would like to teach next year, and we are currently awaiting confirmation from staff members who are on leave about their intentions to return. We are hopeful that staffing arrangements will be finalised soon.
An important part of the class formation process is student input, where students have the opportunity to nominate others they would like to be in a class with next year. This helps us create supportive, positive and balanced classes.
To assist us with our planning, please notify the office as soon as possible if you know that your child will be leaving the school (other than Year 6).
